I hold an H.B.A. with high distinction from the University of Toronto, majoring in experimental linguistics and French. While there, I was twice elected editor-in-chief of the student newspaper The Medium.
During and since that time, I have edited and proofread dozens of articles and manuscripts in English and French across the genres of novel, textbook, memoir, poetry, sports almanac, and online course for professors, graduates, individuals, and companies large and small.
I have proofread translations for a global organization, including speeches by prominent Canadian figures. For practice and personal interest, I have translated medieval French court poetry, a Swedish musical, and Le Petit Prince. I have also done transcription, subtitling, and French tutoring.
I also offer writing and publishing services. I have written over 100 articles including editorials, op-eds, news, and features; edited and directed a 40th anniversary retrospective magazine for The Medium; and brought seven books from manuscript stage to self-publication in print and online to date.
I am an adaptive and fast learner with a high degree of conscientiousness for quality and accuracy. Whatever your project, I will approach it with professionalism and meet your standards.
